Task Manager
The system of automatic generation of tasks for the production of an order
Once the order is paid by the client, it automatically appears in the list of production tasks (pre-print, print, post-print, logistics). The order can be placed both by the client himself and by the manager of the printing house.
Also, order can be edited at any time (in case the customer forgot to add a layout, or the customer mentioned important information that the manager can add as a comment available in the production details).
An employee's working account with a list of tasks
Task management software for printing houses streamlines your workflow seamlessly. An employee's working account with a list of tasks is transformed upon order confirmation into a series of tasks across all relevant departments, shaping daily workflows in production based on urgency and departmental workloads.
Mobile adaptation of the interface for a print house employees
For print house employees, who are always busy with production and don’t sit at the workplaces, it is very important to have quick access to their tasks and the complete information for production at hand without having to go to the computer. That's why we have developed a mobile adaptation of DRUK.engine, which makes it convenient to view tasks anytime, anywhere.
Thanks to our user-friendly system, tasks are automatically generated based on a job ticket that the technician creates once and can then reuse. With these job tickets, employees have complete information about which materials and how much of them are needed for specific printing products and on which equipment the items need to be produced.
Thanks to convenient quick access to complete information on the order, the manager can see at any time at which stage the production is (in print/ready for delivery, handed over to the logistician, etc.). So when a customer calls, there is no need to run to the shop to find out the status of the order. Everything is displayed in the order card.
Automatically generated tasks (from print preparation to printing/delivery) are automatically available in the task section. Each of the tasks has statuses (new/in progress/ready/postponed) and a responsible employee (assigned automatically or manually). Depending on the sequence of tasks in the technical card, a simple change of task statuses is applied. Also, in case of excessive use of materials, the printer records this in the system and synchronizes it with the warehouse, which makes the production processes and costs of defects clear and transparent.
With workflow automation software designed for print businesses, you will have the capability to monitor real-time information about workload and job queues for the day/week, along with completed tasks from previous periods in "Pre-press," "Printing," "Post-press," and "Logistics." Accessible viewing and scheduling of workload distribution are available for specific employees or departments.
Efficient team management for printing industry relies on established and timely communication among employees. Our system facilitates seamless communication through comments, allowing you to promptly identify and resolve issues, ensuring smoother workflow and enhanced productivity within your team.
